The AIFD 2018 is an examination conducted by the University for the candidates who are eligible and interested candidates to UG and PG courses in the field of Fashion Design. The exam is conducted every year. The AIFD is conducted by the Army Institute of Fashion Design, Bangalore.

The interested candidates who want to apply for AIFD 2018 must satisfy all the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria must be strictly followed. The eligibility criteria for AIFD are as follows. The candidates who are the children or wards of army personal and retired personal are eligible to apply for admission s in the Army Institute of Fashion Design, Bangalore. For the UG Admissions the candidates must have passed 10 +2 examination from any of the recognized institute of India with scoring the minimum of 35% marks. For the UG Admissions the candidates must have completed graduation with scoring the minimum of 35% marks from a recognized University. The age limit to apply for UG admission is 16 years for the entrance exam and for PG is 19 years.
Other than the eligibility criteria’s above, The candidates have to get the certificates as physically or mentally fit to pursue for the course and it should be certified by the MH/ RMO/ registered Medical practitioner. These certificates are needed to be submitted at the time of admission by each candidates.
AIFD 2018 Registration Process
The candidates can apply in two ways the online mode and offline mode. In the online mode the candidates first have to open the official website of the army institute of fashion and design (aifdonline.in) in the website click the application form button. Select the AIFD 2018 application form option in the website. Then choose the Undergraduate or postgraduate programme. After the desired course, the candidate has to fill the correct and proper information as asked in the application form. Next upload all the required documents the click the next step. The candidates have to pay the application fees through net banking or by credit card or debit card. In the end the student can save and print the application form which will be needed for future references. In the offline mode the candidates can obtain the application form in person from the counter office of AIFD, Bangalore.
After the registration process the candidates must pay the application fee. The candidates who fill the application form through online mood are needed to send it the address of AIFD along with Demand Draft of Rs.550/- drawn in favour of the Army of Institute of Fashion And Design, payable at Bangalore. AIFD Exam Pattern 2018
The candidates must follow the exam pattern to write the entrance exam. The duration of the exam is 180 minutes. The total marks for the exam is 100. There will be negative marking. The exam will be conducted in English. The subjects are Intelligence and reasoning, general awareness.

AIFD Preparation Tips
The Candidates must strictly follow the exam pattern and prepare according to the syllabus. Make a Perfect time table and work hard for better results. AIFD 2018 Syllabus
The Syllabus of AIFD 2018 is: Intelligence and Reasoning (Logical Reasoning, SERIES, and Numerical Ability), General Awareness (Politics, Current Affairs, History, Computer, Science, and General Knowledge), English Language Competency and Comprehension (Correct Word Usages, Analogy, Spellings, Vocabulary, Odd One out Words). The syllabus is based on the information given the exam conducting authority.
AIFD 2018 Admit Card
The admit card for the entrance exam will be available to the candidates via “Registered Post” to the address of the candidates. It is compulsory to bring the hall ticket to the examination hall. If the candidate comes without he/ she will not be allowed to write the exam. The Hall Ticket contains various details like the candidates name, exam venue, exam date and the other important details.
AIFD 2018 Result
The results of the undergraduate examination will be published on May 2018. The results of the Post graduate examination will be published on august. The results are published by the exam conducting authority of the Army Institute of Fashion Design.
AIFD Admission 2018
After publishing the result, the admission procedure will be conducted. The admission of eligible applicants to fashion design courses at Army Institute of Fashion Design will be made on the basis of marks scored in the written entrance exam (WAT). After the allotment of the seat the candidate is required to report at the allotted college with all the needed documents and fees. During the document verification the candidate has to bring all the original copies of documents. The applicant will not be allowed to attend the institution if the requirements of the counselling are not fulfilled.
