APSET 2018: Eligibility, Application, Syllabus, Results, Admission
The Andhra University at Vishakhapatnam conducts the Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET 2018). The entrance exam probably will be conducted on in the month of July 2018. The authority will conduct the entrance exam analysing the eligibility of the candidate. The entrance exam is for those who want to work at the post of Assistant Professor/ Lectures. The application form of APSET will be available in the month of March 2018. The APSET is an entrance examination conducted in 31 subjects for which UGC has granted permission.
APSET Eligibility Criteria
The candidates who are appearing for the APSET 2018 exam has to ensure that all the eligibility criteria is been followed. The eligibility is being prescribed by the Andhra University. The candidates must have a Master’s degree gotten from a UGC recognized university or college. There will be age limit to write the exam. The applicants must have at least 55% marks in their master’s degree. There is no upper age limit for applying for eligibility for assistant professor. In order to write the entrance exam the candidate has to eligible as per the Eligibility Criteria.
APSET 2018 Registration Process
The APSET 2018 application form will be available in the online mode only. The candidate can acquire the application form from the official website of Andhra University. The applicants must fill in their personal qualification and other details as mentioned in the form and submit it. After the submission the applicant must pay the fee. After completion of the application form the candidate must take a printout of the application form. The candidates have apply through the official portal of APSET that is www.apset.net.in. Before applying the candidates are advised to read the official notification carefully. Fill the application form with all the required details like the name, mobile no., email id, etc. in the prescribed format. Finally check all the details and click the submit button.
APSET Application Fee
After the registration process, candidates have to pay the application fee. The application fee for the APSET exam can be paid through any medium like debit card, credit card, Bank challan etc. The application fees for the general category are RS.100, for the OBC category the fees is RS.800 and for the SC/ST and PH category is RS.500. The applicants have to pay the fees in order to write the exam.

APSET Exam pattern
The candidate must follow the exam pattern for writing the entrance exam. The exam pattern given here are on the basis of the exams conducted throughout the years by the exam conducting authorities. The entrance examination session is divided into 3 papers. In the first section the total marks is 100 and the total no. of questions asked are 60 out of which 50 is to be answered. The duration of the paper 1 is 1¼ Hours .In the second section the total marks is 100 and the total no. of questions asked are 50 out of which all the questions are to be answered. The duration of the paper 2 is 1¼ Hours. .In the third section the total marks is 150 and the total no. of questions asked are 75 out of which all the questions are to be answered. The duration of the paper is 2½ Hours. There will be no negative marking. The candidates have to mark the answer in the OMR sheets.

APSET 2018 Preparation Tips
The Applicants have to prepare for the examination by following the syllabus of the entrance examination. In the first place the candidates have to prepare a time table. They should strictly follow that time table by dividing time to cover all the sections. The candidate should never exclude any part of the topic. Take the help from the best books. APSET Admit Card 2018
The APSET Admit Card 2018 will be released on the official website of the university. The admit card will be provided to the candidates one week before the entrance examination. The candidates must download the application form from the official website. The applicants should note that the application form of APSET 2018 will only be available for online download and the exam conducting authority will not send the admit card to any individual via post or email. . If the candidate comes without he/ she will not be allowed to write the exam. The Hall Ticket contains various details like the candidates name, exam venue, exam date and the other important details.

The candidate must strictly follow the APSET syllabus 2018. The Syllabus of APSET include Teaching Aptitude, Research Aptitude, Reading Comprehension, Communication, Reasoning, Logical reasoning, Data Interpretation, Information and Communication, People and Environment, Higher education system: governance, Polity and administration.

The result of the APSET 2018 written exam will be announced by the Andhra University in July 2018. Those who qualify the APSET will be considered eligible for appointment at the post of Assistant Professors / Lecturers.
APSET Admission 2018
After publishing the result, the admission procedure will be conducted. The counselling for the candidates will start in the month after the declaration of the results. The process of selection includes selecting candidates based on merit in the examination conducted by the exam conducting authority. After the examination and commencement of results the selected candidates will be called for interview.
