AUCET 2018The AUCET 2018 exam is a common entrance test conducted by the Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. The exam is conducted every year for the candidates who want to take admission to pursue the various courses in arts, science, law and engineering. All the courses are offered in the university and other affiliated colleges of Andhra Pradesh (AU). AUCET Eligibility criteria

All the Citizens of India are eligible to apply for the PG courses which have completed their bachelor degree from any recognized institute. The bachelor degree which has been obtained by the applicants through distance education will fulfil candidate’s eligibility criteria to be eligible to apply. The candidate needs to secure a minimum of 50% marks in the bachelor level education to apply for AUECT 2018. All the candidates of the reserved category will be eligible to apply with 455 marks in the graduation level examination. Bachelor degrees of B.A/ B.Sc. / B.Com/ B.Litt. and B.L. from universities other than AP should be recognized by the respective University.

 AUCET 2018 Registration Process

The AUCET application form will only be available from the official website of AUCET. The application form needs to be filled and submitted with all the correct information such as name, age, educational qualifications and the contact information such as the mobile number and the email ID and address. After going to the official website of AUCET, fill in the details to get yourself registered. The personal details are name of the candidate, candidates date of birth, candidates mobile number, nationality, e mail, year of passing of 10th and 12th, parents name, to which category the candidate belongs to, Adhaar no. . The candidates are required to click on the link that they receive on the given e-mail address for the confirmation of registration. Then addition to that all the candidates must pay the application fee at the time of the submission of the application form.

Application Fee

The applicants have to pay the application fee. The application fee for all the candidates will be RS.600 while the application fee for the candidates of the reserved category wll be RS.500. For the candidates who pay the application fee after the last date, he/ she have to pay RS.1000. The application fee payment can be done through the credit card, debit card and net banking or bank challan as well.

AUCET Exam Centres

The exam is conducted at 8 centres at Andhra Pradesh selected by the exam conducting authority. The centres are:

  • Vishakapanam
  • Srikakula
  • Vizianagram
  • Kakinda
  • Rajamundry
  • Eluru
  • Vijayawada
  • Guntur

As per the no. of students who are participating in the examination the University can add or cancel out a centre.

AUCET Exam Pattern

The AUCET 2018 will be an objective type entrance examination. The questions asked in the examination will have multiple choices of answers. There will be no negative markings in the entrance examination. The applicants need to be eligible to qualify for the examination. The maximum no. of questions asked will be 100. The mode of the examination will be offline. The language of the examination is in both English and Telugu. The total time of examination is 90 minutes. The papers include Life science paper, Physical science paper, Mathematical paper, chemical sciences paper and geology paper

AUCET 2018 Admit Card 

The admit card will be available to the candidate from the official website of the AUCET, http://www.audoa.in. The admit card will issued by the exam conducting authority of AUCET. It is compulsory to bring the Admit Card to the examination hall. If the candidate comes without he/ she will not be allowed to write the exam. The Admit Card contains various details like the candidates name, exam venue, exam date and the other important details. To access the AUCET Admit card the candidate has to enter the AUCET registration no, AND PASSWORD. The admit card will be displayed and the candidates need to download it. Click on the download AUCET admit card link. Paste a passport size photo on it and keep it safe with you till the end of the admission process.

AUCET  Result 2018

The AUCET result 2018 will be published on the official website of Andrea Pradesh university. The candidates need to check and download the result card/rank card from the official website of AUCET. The results will be released by the exam conducting authority of AUCET. The scorecard will be required to be kept safe till end of the admission process. The score card has to be shown to the counselling board at the time of AUCET counselling. The AUCET 2018 cut off score can be defined as the minimum marks that a candidate needs to score in order to qualify for AUCET counselling.  The cut-off marks depend on the availability of the seats, numbers of applicants and difficulty level of the entrance exam. The AUCET cut off scores for General category is 50%, for SC/ ST/ OBC is 45% and for PWD is 40%.

AUCET 2018 Admission 

After publishing the result, the admission procedure will be conducted. The AUCET 2018 counselling is to be conducted in the month of JUNE 2018. All the students who have written the entrance examination that has managed to pass will invited for the counselling process. There are various documents the candidate must carry while going for the process. The documents are a valid govt. ID proof, AUCET admit card, AUCET score card, 10th mark sheet, 12th mark sheet, Migration certificate, Character certificate, community certificate, birth certificate, four recent coloured passport size photographs. There might be a specific time and date give to candidates belonging to NCC, NSS, PH, Sports category as per the university and if their marks and rank favours.
