BITSAT 2018: Application, Eligibility, Exam Pattern, Syllabus

BITSAT 2018Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test or BITSAT 2018 is the university level entrance test which is organized by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani. This is arranged to provide the admission in various first-year degree in various UG and the PG programs like the B. Tech, B. Pharma and M.Sc courses. The BITS offering the admission in the three campuses and those campuses are:

  • BITS Pilani campus
  • K. Birla Goa Campus
  • Hyderabad campus

This is one of the most sought university entrance exams, and students wish to get the admission in BITS campuses. The review is conducted through the computer-based test on 16th May – 30th May 2018.

BISTAT 2018 Application Form

  • The candidates can apply and submit the application form of BITSAT 2018 through the official website.
  • The application form is available from the 29th December 2016
  • The offline application form is not available for this exam.
  • The application fee for the BITSAT exam is Rs 2750 for the Man candidate and Rs 2250 fee for the female candidate.
  • If the candidate is selected Dubai as the test center, then the application fee was 60 USD for the both male and female candidates
  • The payment of the application fee can be made through the Net Banking, credit/debit card or by the cash payment at any branch of the ICICI bank

Eligibility Criteria

  • For the admission into any programs except B. Pharma candidates must pass 12th or any other equivalent exam from any recognized board with Physics, English, Chemistry and Mathematics subject.
  • For the admission in B. Pharma candidates must pass 12th or any other equivalent exam with PCB or PCM group with English subject.
  • The candidates must secure 75% or above marks in PCB or PCM group.
  • The candidates appear in the qualifying exam are eligible to apply.
  • The candidates who pass the 12th or any other equivalent before 2015 do not qualify to apply.

BITSAT 2018 Exam Pattern

  • The exam will be conducted through the offline mode.
  • The question is consists the four sections.
  • The duration of the exam is 4 hours.
  • The question paper will compress the 150 objective type questions.
  • For the each correct answer three marks will be awarded.
  • For the wrong answer, one mark will be deducted.

BITSAT 2018 Admit Card

All those candidates who successfully registered will get an admit card via online mode. The same will be kept with you when you are about to appear for the examination. The admit card will contain the details like Candidate details, Reg. no/ Roll No., Date, Time and Venue of examination and instructions to candidate.

An important thing is that, candidates must read the given instructions in the admit card before going to the examination venue. And follow everything mentioned in that. You might be asked for your identity proof and photographs. If so, keep the required with you while going for the examination.

BITSAT 2018 Result

The result will be declared and published by the conducting authority though online mode. All those candidates appeared for the examination can check their results by logging into the official website using the credentials like roll no., date of birth etc. Along with the result, a merit list will also be published. One will be for B. Pharma course and another one for other courses.

BITSAT Admission Process 2018

As per the results and score of the candidate, the merit list will be published. Each candidate will be allotted with a college and they have to report there and take admission. You have to carry the required documents and fee to confirm your admission in that college.
