CMRUAT 2018: Eligibility, Application, Syllabus, Results, Admission
CMR University, Karnataka is conducting authority of CMRUAT 2018 examination. It is a University level entrance examination which offers admission in various UG and PG courses. Candidates those who are interested and eligible for admission in such courses, have to attend the admission test conducted by the University. The application process will starts from March 2018 onward. After the examination shortlisted candidates will be eligible for the admission in CMR University. Candidates those who are interested to participate in the examination must verify all necessary details regarding the entrance exam.
Before applying for the exam, candidates must be aware of the eligibility criteria for admissions in CMR University. It is compulsory meet the eligibility criteria to apply for the application form. Here are the Eligibility Criteria of CMRUAT 2018:
Candidates those who are applying for B. Arch should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination (Mathematics as compulsory/optional subject) from a recognized board or University, with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST and PH category). Also they should posses minimum marks of 40% in NATA.
2. Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in English, Psychology &Journalism; Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA); Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com):
Candidate should have passed 10+2/PUC or equivalent in any stream from a recognized board or university with 50% marks in aggregate. Also candidates should secure a minimum of 65% marks in English and a minimum of 65% either in Accountancy or Mathematics or in any other subject related to commerce.
3. Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Advertising & Public Relation, Digital Media and Digital Filmmaking:
Candidates should have passed 10+2/ equalent examination from a recognized board or University. Also they should submit a personal statement showing their personal background and professional interests in the media.
Candidate should have passed in 10+2/ PUC or equivalent in any stream, with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects.
5. BE/B. Tech:
Candidate should have passed the 10+2/equalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical and Vocational subject. Also should secure a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% marks for SC/ST/PH category).

Note: The University has authority to make any changes in the dates published. Any changes in the dates will be informed to the candidates through the official website.
CMRUAT 2018 Registration Process
Candidates those who are applying through online mode should initially register with a valid e-mail id and a mobile number. After that they will get a login ID and password. Login the account using that ID and password and there will get the application form. Candidates have to fill the form with all the necessary required documents without any mistakes. Then submit the form after payment of the application fee. Also at the time of submitting the form candidates needs to upload a scanned image of your passport size photograph and signature in the prescribed format. After submitting the application, take a printout of the confirmation and keep it for future references.
Candidates those who are applying through offline mode can obtain the application form from CMR University counter. Forms are also obtained to the candidates through post by sending a DD of requisite amount along with the “Request Application”. After filling the application form, send it to address given below, enclosing the required documents pointed below.

CMRUAT Application Form 2018
- Personal and academic details of the candidate.
- Class X, XI and XII mark lists.
- Income and Caste Certificate (if applicable only)
- Entrance exam score card (CMRUAT/CET/NATA/Any other)
- Photos: Passport & Stamp size
- For NRI / Foreign students only: Certificate obtained from the Board, Visa, Passport, Equivalence certificate from AIU
Candidates can pay the application fee via online mode through Credit/Debit Cards/Net banking. If offline mode is selected, pay through DD to the above mentioned address. Fee for B.Arch., B. Tech and few courses of B.Sc. Program (Advertising and Public Relations, Broadcast and Digital Media, Digital Communication and Multimedia and Print and Online Journalism) is Rs. 750/- and for B.Com, BBA, BA (Hons.) and the remaining B. Sc Courses is Rs.500/-.
CMRUAT Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2018
The entrance test will be conducted as online test. Questions are of objective type and will vary with the course. Questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of Class XII syllabus. Candidates are advised to make their preparation from the previous year question papers and mock tests available on the website to score better in examination.
CMRUAT Admit Card 2018
Candidates will receive their Admit card from the official website, https://www.cmr.edu.in, one week before the examination. Candidates can download it by using their registered email address, one week before the examination. Candidate should keep it with them during the examination along with the photo identity card in original.
CMRUAT 2018 Result
Result of CMRUAT 2018 will be published right after the completion of the online test. Candidates can check their results and download the scorecard by using the ID and password. They have to visit the official website of University and click the link ‘CMRUAT 2018 Results’. Then enter the Login ID and password.
CMRUAT Counselling 2018
Candidates are selected on the basis of marks obtained in CMRUAT 2018 Admission Test. Candidates should submit the valid documents required at the occasion of admission procedures. Also keep the ID proofs in original.
