KIITEE 2018: Application Form, Eligibility, Pattern, Important Dates
Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination (KIITEE 2018) is a state level exam which is conducted by Kalinga Institute of Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar for admissions to various Unger Graduate (UG) and Post Graduate (PG) programmes in every year. The UG courses offered by KIITEE are B-Tech/ B-Tech (Lateral Entry)/ B.Arch / BCA/ BBA and PG programmes offered are M-Tech/ LL.M/ MCA/ MBA. A candidate can seek admission for different courses under KIIT University based on the qualifying mark on this entrance exam only. No other individual test or exams will conduct by KIIT in order to select students.
The candidate with minimum qualification can apply for this examination. KIITEE are normally conducted during April of every year.

The basic eligibility criteria for each of the UG and PG programmes are mentioned below. A candidate can check for their basic eligibility before he/ she applies for the KIITEE examination 2018.
Eligibility for UG Courses:

|B-Tech||10+2 passed candidates with minimum 60% of aggregate are able to apply along with subjects-physics, Mathematics and chemistry.|
|B-Tech(Lateral Entry)||Candidates with 10th and 3 years diploma in engineering/ Technology or 10th+2 and 3 years diploma with minimum 60% of mark can apply.
The age limit for LE candidates are not more than 24 years.
|B-Tech in Architecture||Pass in Plus two with a minimum of 60% of aggregate mark along with NATA qualification.|
|BCA||Candidate with 50% of aggregate mark in XII along with mandatory subject as Mathematics.|
|BBA||Candidate must have a pass in Plus Two with 50% of aggregate mark along with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Business Mathematics/ Economics.|

|MBA||Candidates with minimum 50% of aggregate marks from any graduation degree stream (BBA/ B-Tech/ etc) are eligible to apply.|
|MCA||Candidates with minimum of 50% mark in graduation degree along with mathematics as main subject in Plus two levels are eligible to apply.|
Candidates must have born on or after 1st July 1997.i.e. age of the candidate should not be more than 21 years as per 1st July 2018.
KIITEE 2018 Application Form
The candidates who are interested in applying various curses under KIIT, Bhubaneswar can fill up the online application form from their respective education portal site. The candidates must be aware of the following factors will fill up the form:
- The online application will starts from December onwards.
- Interested candidates can fill up application form after reading all the necessary information’s.
- Candidates will be requested to upload their scanned copies certificates of 10th and +2 (if they specify it as mandatory) along with scanned copies of passport size photographs.
- The application will closes during March 2018, so that the candidates are advised to apply for their respective course before that.
- After submitting the online application, candidates must have to download the application and submit it with all the required documents to the address below:

There is no application fee for KIITEE 2018 Examination Conducted by KIIT.
KIITEE 2018 Exam Pattern
The KIITEE exam paper will vary depending on the course (whether UG or PG) applied by the candidates.
- Duration: The total duration allowed for KIIT Entrance Examination is 3 hours, i.e, 180 minutes.
- No of Questions: There will be a total of 120 questions in the question paper.
- Medium of Question Paper: The question paper will be available only on English language for all the candidates, whom are appearing for the KIITEE.
- Question Paper Type: Objective type question paper which consists of 4 option for each question. Candidate can select any one from the available options.
- Negative Marking: For each of the wrong answer attempted by the candidate 1/4th of the actual mark i.e, 1 mark for that particular question will be deducted from final result.
- Marking Scheme: For each correct answer attempted by the candidate, it will carry +4 marks
KIITEE Syllabus 2018
The syllabus for under graduate Programmes such as B-Tech/ BCA/ BBA/ B.Arch will be based on the basic level 10th and Plus two syllabus questions. For Post graduate courses the syllabus will vary from that of under graduate course. For M-Tech it may consists of multiple questions from B.E/B-Tech based on the M-Tech branch respectively.
KIITEE 2018 Result
The Result of KIITEE examination will be published in the month of May 2018, in the respective examination portal. Candidates can check their result and download score card by enrolling their roll number, which is provided by the organizing committee of KIITEE. The Authority will also publish a separate merit list based on different courses under the university, which consists of candidate names those whom are eligible for merit seat.
KIITEE 2018 Cut Off Marks
The cut-off marks are decided by the organizing team, at the time of result announcement. There are several factors that may affect the cut-off mark, such as difficulty level of paper, no of seats available for course, no of candidates appeared for exam and etc. Candidates with marks lower than the defined cut-off will be eliminated directly from rank list.
KIITEE Counselling 2018
Candidates can go further for counselling strictly based on the rank held by the candidate in the KIITEE examination organized by KIIT, no other additional test or exam will not conduct separately. Counselling will be carried out during May 2018. The short listed candidates are requested to bring their original certificates and proofs at the time of admission procedure.
