LEET 2018: Application Form, Eligibility Criteria, Syllabus, Results
The LEET 2018 is a state level examination, The Haryana lateral entry entrance test is conducted by the Haryana State Technical Education Society every year for students seeking admission into B.E/ B.tech courses in the 2nd year across colleges in the Haryana State. The exam will be held annually the month of May 2018. The eligible candidate can fill the application form till the last week of April 2018. The entrance exam is popularly known as LEET. The entrance exam offers opportunities for candidates to study technology courses ranging from engineering to even architecture. It is a very popular examination.
LEET Eligibility Criteria
The candidates should have done Diploma in technology/ engineering (duration of 3 years or more) scoring at least 45% marks in aggregate, 42% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC category from Haryana STATE Board of Technical; Education or its equivalent. The candidates who possessed B.sc Degree with no less than 45% marks and 42%.75% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC category from a UGC recognized University and cleared 10+2 with mathematics as a subject, are considered eligible to apply. However candidate’s having B.sc degree should pass the subjects of Engineering Drawing/ engineering Graphics and Engineering mechanics of the first year engineering course along with second year subjects. There will be a relaxation given in cut off percentage up to 10% for Kashmiri Migrants.
LEET Registration Process
The LEET Application Form will be available on the official website of LEET. All the applicants must fill and submit the online application form. The Candidates must attach the scanned photo and signature in the application form, certain formats will be provided for those in the notification. First candidates must log on to www.onlnetesthry.gov.in to register for the entrance examination. The applicants must fill in their personal qualification and other details as mentioned in the form and submit it. After the submission the applicant must pay the fee. After completion of the application form the candidate must take a printout of the application form.
The LEET application fee is RS.500/ for general category whereas for reserved categories and female candidates the application fee is rs.200. The application fee can be paid through credit card, debit card or Net banking.
LEET exam pattern
The candidate must follow the exam pattern for writing the entrance exam. The exam pattern given here are on the basis of the exams conducted throughout the years by the exam conducting authorities: The question paper will contain objective type questions. There will be four options from which you have to choose only one option. For every correct option 1 mark will be given. The duration of the exam is 90 minutes.

The Applicants have to prepare for the examination by following the syllabus of the entrance examination. In the first place the candidates have to prepare a time table. They should strictly follow that time table by dividing time to cover all the sections. The candidate should never exclude any part of the topic. Take the help from the best books. The study materials will be available in the internet or the market. Always Practice previous years question papers. Previous year sample papers will help you to know more about the exam pattern and it will be available from different sources. The best source of sample question papers will be the internet. The student must prepare for the exam both mentally and physically. While studying the students must be calm and peaceful.

LEET 2018 Admit Card
The admit card for LEET will be released by the exam conducting authority after the submission of the LEET application form. It will be released on the official website of the university. To access the admit card the applicant have enter their application no. on the website. It is compulsory to bring the hall ticket to the examination hall. If the candidate comes without he/ she will not be allowed to write the exam. The Hall Ticket contains various details like the candidates name, exam venue, exam date and the other important details.
LEET Result 2018
The results will be published on the official website of the LEET, http://www.hstes.org.in/. It will be released after the commencement of the examination. By entering the candidate’s enrolment no. or name you can check the results. The students must take a printout of the result. The print out of the mark list will be needed for further procedures. All the candidates will be invited to take part in the LEET counselling process.
LEET 2018 Admission Process
The process of counselling starts with registration online on the official website. The candidate may change the registration details as required on this counselling website during the counselling period. The registration for counselling will be done before the first counselling begins. The candidates who want to join the off-campus counselling will be need to save the password as well as ID generated. After the completion of the first counselling, the candidate needs to report to the appointed institution with all the required documents in order to ensure the admission. The candidates need to deposit the admission fee to seal the admission in an institution. In case the candidate wishes to appear in the 2nd counselling then need to fill the priority choices again on the official website. After the second counselling there will be no counselling.
