Lady Hardinge Medical College at New Delhi offers MBBS and BDS courses ay UG level and various PG diplomas, MD, MS, M.Sc at PG level. All the courses are recognized by the Medical Council of India. The university is a government funded Medical college form Women, established in the year 1916 and is affiliated to University of Delhi. The admissions into MBBS and BDS courses through NEET PG 2018, which is a national level examination conducted by Central Board of Education. An annual intake into MBBS Course is 200 seats at LHMC. About 85% of seats are filled by the Delhi University through NEET UG 2017 and 15% seats are filled by DGHS under All India Quota. LMHC 2018 Eligibility Criteria
The minimum eligibility criteria are 10+2 from a recognized in Biology or Biotechnology, Physics and chemistry subject’s with50% aggregate (40% in case of reserved categories).The LHMC offers MBBS and BDS courses at UG level. The admissions are done on the basis of rank/ score in NEET UG followed by the admission process. The key points are:
- The candidate’s minimum age must be of 17 years.
- The upper age limit is 25 years, for reserved categories it will be relax able for reserved categories.
- The candidates who have passed from Patrachar Vidyalaya Or National Institute of open Schooling will be eligible under 85% All the Indian Citizen/ Overseas citizens of India who have passed class 11th and 12th within the Delhi Union Territory is eligible for admission in Delhi Quota.
- After section the candidates will be required to go through medical examination by the medical officers appointed.
- The candidates who are found medically unfit will not be admitted to the university.
LMHC 2018 Application
The LMHC 2018 application process is available in online mode. The candidates are required to apply for entrance examinations NEET UG, NEET PG, NEET SS. The candidates will be required to attend the counselling and choose the college after qualifying in the entrance examination. They can choose the college as LHMC, New Delhi at the time of counselling. The candidates will be selected for admission based on the ranks obtained in entrance examination. LMHC College Reservation
There are reservations for the candidates based on their respected categories.
The scheduled caste will get 15% reservation; the Scheduled Tribe will get 7.5% reservation. Other backward caste will get 27% reservation; PwD will get 3% of the reservation and Widows/ Children of armed force personnel (C.W Category) will get 5% reservation. LMHC Scholarship 2018
The scholarship is provided to students whose parents annual incomes less than 5 lakhs per annum. Other scholarships are also provided by LHMC as per govt. norms for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates.
LMHC 2018 Admit Card
The candidate can acquire the admit card from the official website of LMHC, http://lhmc-hosp.gov.in/. The admit card must be kept with candidate safely as it is an important document. The admit card must be with the candidate while attending the examination. The admit card contain details such name of the candidate and date of birth etc. The candidates who successfully submitted and registered their name can only download the hall ticket. The candidates without the admit card will be allowed to enter the examination hall.
LMHC Exam Pattern 2018
The examination will be in English. The applicants should have practical experience both in community or hospital setting. The total duration of the entrance examination will be 2 hours. Preparing for the exam according to the examination pattern will help the candidate score high marks. The question paper will comprise of 180 questions. The candidates will have 4 options to choose from.
NEET Marking Scheme
In NEET the maximum marks are 720. 4 marks for each correct answer. There will be provision of negative marking, 1 mark will be reduced. The candidate should only use blue/ black point pen.

The LHMC admission 2018
The admission at LHMC is strictly based on the merit list of the candidates belonging to different categories by Faculty of Medicine and science, at Delhi University. The candidates who are from outside of Delhi will only get admission when there are seats are vacant. The counselling is done for the candidates on the basis of their score obtained in NEET. Candidates will be informed about various courses available to a candidate. None of the candidates already pursuing MBBS/ BDS from any institutions of the country shall be allotted a seat in the counselling process.
