The MH CET 2018 is going to be conducted by the government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell. Through this examination the candidates will get admission into the first year of full time degree courses of engineering and technology, health sciences and pharmacy courses. It is a state level entrance examination which is also known MHT CET. The courses are offered by the different colleges and institutions located in Maharashtra state.
For Engineering, Technology and Pharmacy Courses: The candidates must be an Indian citizen. There is no age limit to apply for the eligibility criteria. The candidates must pass their HSC/ 12th or its equivalent examination form a recognized board. The appearing candidates can also apply.
For health science course: For Unani and Ayurvedic courses, candidate must b born on or before 1st October 2001. For health science courses, candidates must be born on ot before 31st December 2001. Moreover the candidates must be medically fit.

MH CET 2018 Registration process
The MH CET application fee will be available from the 1st week of March 2018. The candidates can fill in the application form till the 4th week of March 2018. There will be no other mode to fill in the MH CET application form. The candidates have to enter their valid email id, mobile no. and password on their first login. The candidates have uploaded their recent passport size photograph and signature. The uploaded files should be in JPEG format and should not exceed more than 50kb per file. The candidates must read the instruction carefully before filling the application form. The applicants should keep a print copy of the confirmation page for further reference.
The application fee is RS.800 for general candidates and for the reserved candidates the fee is RS.600. The candidates have to download and print the Bank Challan and submit the fee through State Bank of India Branches. The candidates are advised to make the payment after 48hrs of the registration.
MH CET 2018 Exam Pattern
The exam will be held in the 2nd May 2018. Candidates those apply for engineering courses have to appear for the paper1 and paper3. Those applying for the Health science degree and courses have to appear for paper1 and paper 2. The exam will be organized through offline mod. The question paper will come in English or Marathi or Urdu for PCB. Mathematic papers will be in English language only. The examination will consist of 3 papers. Each paper consists of 100 marks. The duration of the exam will be w1/2. The question paper will be a Multiple Choice Based questions. The candidates can use black ink ballpoint pen only to mark their answers. No marks will be reduced for negative answers.
MH CET 2018 Preparation Tips
The Applicants have to prepare for the examination by following the syllabus of the entrance examination. In the first place the candidates have to prepare a time table. They should strictly follow that time table by dividing time to cover all the sections. The candidate should never exclude any part of the topic. Take the help from the best books. The study materials will be available in the internet or the market. Always Practice previous years question papers. Previous year sample papers will help you to know more about the exam pattern and it will be available from different sources. The best source of sample question papers will be the internet. The student must prepare for the exam both mentally and physically. While studying the students must be calm and peaceful.
MH CET 2018 Syllabus
The MH CET syllabus will be comprised of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics subjects. It will be the same as per the HSC examination of HSC board of Maharashtra. Candidates are advised to go through the complete syllabus topic wise to cover the complete syllabus.
MH CET 2018 Admit Card
The MH CET admit card will be available through online mode, the admit card link will be provided as soon as it will be released. MH CET Answer Key
The exam conducting authority will publish the question booklet of all versions in the 3rd week of May 2018. The authority will also release provisional and official answer key through online mode. The official MH CET answer key will be released in the 4th week of May 2018. Candidates can check their answer key by entering their Registration ID and Password.
MH CET Result 2018
The announcement of the MH CET 2018 result will be made in due course of time after successful completion of the exam. Participants can check their results on the official website, https://dtemaharashtra.gov.in. It will be released after the commencement of the examination. By entering the candidate’s enrolment no. or name you can check the results. The students must take a printout of the result. The print out of the mark list will be needed for further procedures. All the candidates will be invited to take part in the MH CET 2018 Counselling.
MH CET Counselling 2018
The candidates will be short listed on the basis of the result. The shortlisted candidates have to appear for the counselling. The counselling will be started from the 2nd week of June 2018. Candidates can report to the regional centre as per the counselling schedule. The counselling is a part of the admission process. The applicants are required to pay requisite counselling fee for appearing in the counselling. The admission of the candidates will not be finalized by the mere appearance in the counselling. The admission will depend on the score of the written exam, seat availability and document verification. The candidate must be present during the document verification. The applicant will not be allowed to attend the institution if the requirements of the counselling are not fulfilled.
