MH SSET 2018: Eligibility, Application, Syllabus, Admit Card, Results

MH SSET 2018MH SSET 2018 (Maharashtra Super Specialty Entrance Test) is organized by the Directorate of Medical Education & Research – DMER and this is common entrance test which is conducted for all interested candidates. Through this examination candidates will be able to get admission in the super specialty courses likely DM or MCH. Depending upon the mark scored by the candidate, he/she will get admission in desired courses and accordingly candidates will be allotted to seats in various colleges and institutions of state Maharashtra. The availability of application forms and Information Brochure will be starting from the month of May, 2018 tentatively whereas, the exam will be held in the month of June 2018. Candidates will able to apply for the exam both via online and offline, the application form will be published in the official website of the university, http://www.dmer.org.

Maharashtra SSET 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the exam, candidates have to make sure whether they are eligible for the examination. For the acceptance of application form, candidates must have to meet the required eligibility criteria as prescribed by the university. All applicants must have to be enrolled with MCI/Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) or any other state council permanently for application for the admissions most importantly. Also, the candidate must possess a PG degree MD/MS or its equivalent under a MCI recognized medical college. However, candidates those who are appearing for MD/MS or any equivalent exam are also eligible to sit for the exam. Candidates those who are from the previous mentioned eligibility will be considered for selection, by producing the passing certificate of their degree on the date of preference form filling and counseling.

MH SSET 2018 Application Form

Candidates those who possess the eligibility criteria can apply for this examination. Candidates can apply for this examination both via offline and online. Candidates those who are going to apply via offline, will be able to get the application form from the below mentioned colleges by paying the brochure fee and application fee.

Candidates those who are going to apply via online, have to visit the official website. Candidates will be able to apply via online from the month of May 2018. Candidates have to fill up the application form by providing all the mandatory details. For finalizing the application form, candidates have to upload their photograph and signature. It will be a mandatory thing to take the print out of the application form for further admission process.

MH SSET Admit card 2018

Candidates have to download the MH SSET 2018 admit card from the official website of the exam organizing authority. The admit card will be released 7 days before the entrance examination. The admit card will be same for all the applied courses. Admit card will contain details such as Name, Roll Number, photograph, signature, examination schedule & examination centre details. Candidates have to provide the admit card at the examination centre for getting into exam hall. Candidates must have to carry a valid photo ID proof along with the admit card for the candidate verification process. Also candidates must note down the time and venue of the examination carefully.

MH SSET Exam Pattern

For getting higher marks in the examination, candidates must have the adequate knowledge in the exam pattern. Following are the main points of exam pattern.

  1. The duration of the examination will be 2 & 1/2 hours.
  2. 200 multiple choice questions will be asked in the question paper.
  3. Each correct answer will be awarded with 1 mark.
  4. There will be no Negative marking scheme in the examination

MH SSET 2018 Result

After the MH SSET 2018 examination, the exam organizing university will release the result. The result will be tentatively published on last week of June 2018. The result will be released through the official website of the exam conducting university. Cut off mark will also be published along with the declaration of result. Based on the cut off mark only, the university will select the aspirants for further admission process. Candidates will be able to view their result by entering their unique E-mail ID and password. It will be a necessary thing to download and take the print of the score card of the examination for further admission process.
