NIMCET 2018: Application Form, Eligibility, Exam Dates
National Institute of Technology (NIT), Agartala organizes NIMCET 2018 once in a year. NIT MCA is a national level entrance exam. They offer admission in MCA courses at different NIT’s across the country. They issue three rounds of allotments for the seats. For providing admissions, various NIT’s such as Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Durgapur, Tiruchirappalli, Warangal are participating. They consider the NIMCET scores for providing admissions for interested candidates.
NIMCET 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should check the eligibility criteria given below, before the registration of the entrance examination.
Candidates should have passed BCA / B.Sc / B.Sc (Hons) / BIT of minimum 3 years full-time OR B.E / B.Tech or equivalent from a recognized University. Candidates those who passed B.Sc / B.Sc (Hons) / BCA/ BIT of 3 years from Open Universities can also register for the entrance examination. Appearing candidates can also apply. Applicants must secure a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5/10 CGPA and SC/ST candidates have to score 55% marks in aggregate or 6/10 CGPA. No age limit is required to appear the exam. There is no limit specified in the number of attempts.

NIMCET 2018 Application Form
Applicants should go through the details regarding NIMCET Application Form. Following steps are needed for the successful submission of the application.
Candidates have to register online through the official website of NIMCET with a login id and password. After registration they have to fill all the required information’s. Applicants have to fill the information regarding educational qualifications, address and have to select three preferred examination centers. Applicants have to upload their scanned photograph and signature in the prescribed format. Then required application fee should be paid and submit the form. After submitting a complete application form with a unique application number will be generated. Applicants have to take a print out of the application form and send it through Speed Post/ Registered Post to the given address along with all necessary documents.

Applicants can submit the application form only after the payment of required fees. Application fee once paid is non-refundable. Fee for OPEN/ OBC will be Rs.2000/- and Rs. 1000/- for SC/ST. Application fee can be paid through Debit card/ Credit card/ Net banking.
NIMCET 2018 Exam Pattern
Before attending the entrance examination candidates should have an idea about the pattern of the exam. This helps to make a schedule for exam preparations accordingly. The exam will be conducted through pen and paper based mode within a time duration of two and half hours. It will be based on Multiple Choice Questions. Question paper will be in English language. There will be 120 questions in total. 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answers and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

NIMCET 2018 Syllabus
Candidates should prepare for the examination according to the syllabus to score better marks in the examination. NIMCET syllabus consists of various topics such as Mathematics, Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness and General English. Most of the questions will be asked from these topics. Also students should practice sample papers and previous years question papers.
NIMCET Admit Card 2018
Hall Ticket for NIMCET 2018 will be issued most probably from second week of May 2018. Admit card will not be sent individually to any of the applicant by post. Candidates have to download it from the official website by login using the ID and password. Applicants are strictly informed to produce the admit card at the examination centre. In case any failure takes place candidates will not be permitted to enter into the exam hall. Also the same must be produced at the event of counseling. The admit card will contain valid details like Name of the student, roll number, exam centre, etc. Candidates must note the time and venue of the examination carefully. In case of any mistakes in admit card, candidates must immediately get in touch with the required officials.
NIMCET 2018 Result
The result of NIMCET exam will be published in the official website on second week of June, 2018. On the basis of marks scored by the applicants in the entrance test, a rank list will be prepared and selection for counseling process will be made. Applicants are advised to take a printout of the result and keep the same for further use.
NIMCET 2018 Counselling
After publishing the results, candidates are shortlisted through counseling process. Candidates those who are attended the NIMCET test will be allotted ranks as per their scored marks. Selected candidates can participate in the counselling conducted for the admission into MCA programme offered by NITs. Choices of institutions can be filled through online mode. After seat allotment, candidates should report personally at the college to confirm admission. Candidates are advised to keep the copy of admit card, result and further necessary documents pertaining their educational qualifications and identification in original at the time of counseling and admission.
