The National School of Drama is an autonomous organization which is run by the Ministry of culture of the Govt. of India. The NSD students can get admission in 3 year diploma course in dramatic arts offered by National School of Drama (NSD), the candidates have to clear various admission rounds. The NSD organizes various rounds that are Preliminary exam/ Audition and Final workshop for providing admissions. NSD trains and prepares students to become professional in the field of Acting, Design, Direction and other relevant areas. Candidates have to clear various admission rounds to get admission in 3-year diploma courses in dramatic arts offered by the NSD.

NSD 2018 Eligibility Criteria

In the given details below we have given the eligibility criteria for The National School of Drama (NSD) 2018. The Candidates who applied for NDA 2018 must hold a graduation degree in any stream from any recognized university or college. The applicants should have some theatre experience and must have participated in minimum six theatre productions. The minimum age limits for the candidates are 20 years and maximum is 30 years as or on 1st July 2018. Five year age relaxation will be prescribed for the SC/ST candidates as per reservations. Candidates must know working knowledge of English and Hindi.

NSD 2018  Registration

NSD The application form for The National School of Drama (NSD) 2018 will be available via online and offline mode. The NSD 2018 application form will be released from the first week of May 2018.The candidate can pay the fee through demand draft. The last date to submit the application will be the last week of May 2018.The candidate has to send the application to the authority address. The upper age limit and lower age limit will be 30 years and 20 years respectively. Students, who graduated in Arts stream, can apply for admission in NSD. The application form can be availed by post or books shops of NSD.

Candidates can make the fee payment through demand draft. The demand Draft would be drawn in favor of “The Director, National School of Drama, New Delhi”.

NSD 2018 Exam Pattern

The National School of Drama (NSD) 2018 examination authorities organizes its examination to conduct in offline mode. The examination pattern includes the topics like Aptitude and Acting Skills for the NSD 2018. The exam medium will be in Hindi or English language. Candidates have to choose any one language among them.

NSD 2018 Admit Card

The admit card is released by the exam conducting authority. The admit card will be released before 1 or 2 weeks from the examination date. Candidates who have successfully submitted the application form can get the admit card and write the The National School of Drama (NSD) 2018. NSD 2018 Admit card will have details like exam centre, exam date, students name, roll number and other exam related instructions. The candidate should take the Admit card with them to the exam hall. NSD 2018 Results

The result of the National School of Drama (NSD) 2018 will be announced through offline or online mode. After the official announcement the candidates can check their NSD Result 2018 from the official website, http://nsd.gov.in/. The candidates have to keep NSD 2018 result till the admission process gets completed. According to the previous year, NSD have released their results within one month after the examination. The results have to be preserved till the end of the admission of the candidate to NSD 2018.

NSD 2018 Admission Process

After publishing the result, the admission procedures will be conducted. Candidates have to go through the different admission rounds. To examine the candidates aptitude and acting skills have to attend the preliminary or aptitude test. The Candidates have to attend a workshop five days under the school premises after qualifying the test. The candidates have to go through the medical test for physical fitness organized at NSD. All the candidates who applied for NSD 2018 will be selected for admission after the tests may also get a Rs. 6000/- scholarship on monthly basis. The candidate will be selected on the basis of the tests done.
